Acting as the bridge between technical ESG data and everyday understanding, it translates complex disclosures into compelling content for internal and external audiences. The role also manages award submissions and recognition opportunities, oversees the sustainability content calendar, and ensures a cohesive voice across all communication channels. • Owns the coordination of corporate-wide forums and sustainability events ensuring a consistent, unified narrative that reinforces the organization's sustainability commitments from the inside out.

    ESG Communication & Content Translation:
    • Bridges the gap between technical ESG data and everyday employee understanding by transforming complex information including GHG emissions, climate disclosures, and social impact into compelling infographics, storytelling content, and internal and external communications.
    • Partners with the ESG Reporting and CSR Teams as the primary communication translator for sustainability performance data.

    Sustainability Learning & Behavioral Change:
    • Develops, delivers, and continuously improves sustainability training programs designed to drive meaningful behavioral change across the workforce beyond compliance.
    • Owns the broader sustainability mindset shift such as equipping employees with the awareness, language, and motivation to act sustainably in their day-to-day roles.

    Awards, Recognition & External Positioning:
    • Leads end-to-end preparation of sustainability award submissions and external recognition opportunities from identifying relevant platforms to crafting compelling narratives.
    • Collaborates with the ESG Reporting Lead for data accuracy and the CSR Lead for social impact evidence, ensuring submissions are both technically credible and strategically differentiated.

    Sustainability Communications Hub:
    • Serves as the central owner of the sustainability content calendar, managing internal newsletters, digital channels, intranet pages, and employee success stories.
    • Ensures content is timely, engaging, and aligned with broader corporate messaging — maintaining a cohesive sustainability voice across all internal and external communication touchpoints.

    Cross-Functional Integration & Employer Brand:
    • Works closely with HR and Marketing to embed sustainability into the employer value proposition and internal brand identity.

  • Storytelling & Content Creation: The candidate must demonstrate exceptional writing and visual communication skills, with a track record of leading successful internal campaigns or preparing award-winning submissions.
  • Stakeholder Management: The Engagement Lead must be capable of working effectively with technical data owners (ESG and CSR) to extract and promote impact stories.
