What is your mission?

  • Design, implement and deploy cloud solutions as Infrastructure as a Code with consideration towards Security, Networking
  • A Cloud Engineer deploys, debugs, and executes initiatives related to cloud computing. 
  • Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based systems, ensuring efficient data storage and adherence to security policies. 
  • Modifying and improving existing systems.
  • Designing and implementing security measures: The primary duty of a cloud security engineer is to design secure cloud architectures to protect cloud-based data, applications, and infrastructure, thereby defending against breaches and potential vulnerabilities.
  • Conducting risk assessments: Thorough risk assessments are essential for identifying vulnerabilities within the cloud environment. This involves evaluating potential threats and implementing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Maintaining compliance: A cloud security engineer ensures that cloud infrastructure and processes comply with industry standards and regulations. This involves conducting regular audits and updates to maintain compliance with evolving laws and policies.
  • Monitoring and managing security: Continuous surveillance of the cloud environment is crucial. Cloud security engineers conduct assessments and audits, track incidents, and use specialized tools and technologies to remediate risks prior to exploitation.

Who are we looking for?

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Professional Degree, in Computer Science, IT Systems Engineering or a related qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in managing and administering leading cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP) in an enterprise environment.
  • Understanding of Cloud Native Platforms such as Databricks, Kubernetes, Open Shift, docker. Ability to build & deploy applications, services, and workloads.
  • Understand security and compliance for cloud environment.
  • Certified cloud engineer with GCP or AWS is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge in IaC, IAM, VPC, cloud compute services, instance scaling, load balancing, WAF, network Firewall and cost optimization techniques, cloud security best practices.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise IT policies, cybersecurity, and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage complex technical issues in a large-scale environment.
  • Experience with identity and access management (IAM), SSO, and multi-factor authentication (MFA) integrations.
  • Demonstrated excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools i.e Spinnaker, Jenkins.
