What is your mission?

  • Contribute to the annual enterprise risk assessment incorporating new and emerging risks and support the continuous maintenance of the audit universe.
  • Assist to refine and standardize audit methodologies, automated work papers and testing templates.
  • Independently lead and execute end-to-end internal audit engagements (planning, scoping, fieldwork testing, reporting and remediation tracking) within allocated budget and timelines.
  • Design practical audit programs and test procedures to assess governance, internal controls, and policy/regulatory compliance across diverse business units.
  • Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of risk management and internal control across financial, operational and basic IT general controls (ITGC).  
  • Oversee, review, and coordinate with outsourced/co-sourced audit partners and guest auditors on specialized audit projects.
  • Drive root cause analysis for identified issues, collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver meaningful, actionable, and commercially viable remediation plans.  
  • Apply data analytics (e.g., SQL, PowerBI, advanced Excel) to enhance audit testing, anomaly detection, and continuous monitoring routines. 
  • Exercise baseline risk awareness when reviewing automated workflows and AI-assisted decision-making processes (deep technical AI/ML knowledge is not required).
  • Conduct special reviews, management requests, and ad-hoc investigations as required. 
  • Travel up to 30% across APAC region. 

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking an agile, commercially minded Internal Audit Manager who possesses:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certification such as CIA, CPA or CA is required (CISA or CFE is an added advantage). 
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant audit experience gained from Big 4 and / or commercial internal audit functions.
  • Demonstrated track record of direct, hands-on audit fieldwork execution (not purely supervisory).
  • Strong technical grounding in internal controls, COSO framework, financial processes, and operational risk.
  • Strong project management skills, with the discipline to prioritize multiple priorities independently under tight timelines.
  • Working proficiency with data analytics tools (Excel, PowerBI, SQL) and an appetite to understand technology and automated processes risks.   
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, with the maturity to comfortably handle pushback, negotiate pragmatic solutions with senior stakeholders, and maintain independence and professional scepticism.
