What is your mission?

The Cryptocurrency Risk Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in monitoring, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with cryptocurrency transactions and operations. This position requires a deep understanding of cryptocurrency markets, regulatory frameworks, and risk management practices to ensure the integrity and security of our platform.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Risk Assessment and Monitoring:

• Monitor cryptocurrency transactions for suspicious activity, including fraud, money laundering, and other compliance risks.

• Conduct thorough risk assessments on new and existing products, services, and partnerships within the cryptocurrency space.

2. Policy Development:

• Assist in the development and implementation of risk management policies and procedures specific to cryptocurrency operations.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards related to cryptocurrency transactions.

3. Data Analysis:

• Analyze transaction data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that may indicate potential risks.

• Utilize data analytics tools to enhance risk detection capabilities and improve reporting processes.

4. Incident Response:

• Coordinate responses to risk-related incidents, including fraud investigations and security breaches.

• Work with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues promptly and effectively.

5. Reporting:

• Prepare regular reports on risk metrics, incidents, and trends for senior management and stakeholders.

• Present findings and recommendations for risk mitigation strategies to enhance overall operational resilience.

6. Collaboration:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Compliance, Legal, IT Security, and Customer Support, to ensure a holistic approach to risk management.

• Participate in training sessions to educate staff on risk awareness and best practices in cryptocurrency operations.

7. Continuous Improvement:

• Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging risks in the cryptocurrency landscape.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the risk operations framework to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Who are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field (preferred).

• [1] years of experience in risk management, compliance, or operations roles within the financial services or cryptocurrency, Banking and any related industry.

• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and regulatory frameworks.


Skills:
 

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and make informed decisions.
 

• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying potential risks.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
