  • Support the monthly and quarterly closing processes; track, document and resolve issues that arise related to closing. Assist in the preparation monthly and quarterly financial report
  • Conduct variance analyses; explain variances between actual results and budget or prior years.
  • Support the implementation of new accounting system.
  • Assist superior for budget and forecasting preparation and other ad-hoc reporting assigned
  • Assist with tax returns and statutory audit.
  • Continued monitoring of issues identified and resolutions raised ensuring that they are effectively settled on a timely basis. 

What is your mission?

 

  • Closing of financial accounts on a monthly basis within set deadlines.
  • Monitor and completion of service tax returns and company cash flow position.
  • Ensure neat and organized filing of all finance/ legal related documentation.
  • Prepare schedules for year end audit purpose.
  • Execute treasury/ banking matters with the banks.
  • Generate accurate reporting to the Accountant and Group Finance Director.
  • Any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned to you by the management from time to time, within your category of employment in the organization and for the effective implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of the Quality Management System of TDCX.

Who are we looking for?

  • Possess academic degree or professional degree in Finance/Accounting.
  • Around 6 - 8 years of relevant working experience.  Experience in fast-paced service industry which is growing and dynamic.
  • Hands-on working experience and ability to analyse complex strategic issues and provide recommendation.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is mandatory to handle complex calculations, large volume of data and reporting (e.g. pivot tabling, lookup, etc.)
  • Accurate, meticulous, strong analytical skills (sharp with numbers).
  • Possess high integrity level (honesty and maintain secrecy of finance-related data) is mandatory.
  • Good and clear communication skills (written and verbal) in English.
  • Ability to read and speak Japanese is an advantage.
  • Able to multi-task and prioritise deliverables, work under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Positive attitude towards challenges and resilience.
  • Willingness to take on new skills and tasks, resourceful in trouble shooting.
  • Advantage to candidates who can join on immediate or short notice period.
