What is your mission?
- Provide guidance to outsourcing firm junior support staffs on accounting entries, reconciliations, and analysis.
- Full responsible for the more complex activities associated with maintaining ledger accounts and for developing financial statements and reports of the operating unit in Vietnam (Local GAAP and IFRS).
- Responsible for developing and revising policies and for making sure staff complies with regulations, including closing checklist
- Implement internal processes and procedures and SOX compliance
- Prepare or review Inter office billing
- Prepare and review AR and AP invoice posting in the accounting system
- maintain journal entries and perform reconciliation including but not limited to bank and inter-office reconciliations.
- Prepares and reviews monthly Balance Sheet reconciliation
- Administrative accounting and banking systems
- Responsible for cashflow and treasury management
- Support the monthly and quarterly closing processes; track, document and resolve issues that arise related to closing. Assist in the preparation monthly and quarterly financial report
- Preparing statistic and investment report
- Conduct variance analyses; explain variances between actual results and budget or prior years.
- Assist superior for budget and forecasting preparation and other ad-hoc reporting assigned
- Responsible for all tax submission and returns and statutory audit.
- Continued monitoring of issues identified and resolutions raised ensuring that they are effectively settled on a timely basis.
Who are we looking for?
- Possess academic degree or professional degree in Finance/Accounting. CPA certificates is a plus.
- Vietnam Chief Accountant Certificate is a must (we can consider if you are still in the middle of the course)
- At least 6 years of relevant working experience, at least 1 year in supervisor position. Experience in fast-paced service industry which is growing and dynamic.
- Hands-on working experience and ability to analyse complex strategic issues and provide recommendation
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is mandatory to handle complex calculations, large volume of data and reporting (e.g. pivot tabling, lookup, etc.)
- Accurate, meticulous, strong analytical skills (sharp with numbers)
- Possess high integrity level (honesty and maintain secrecy of finance-related data) is mandatory
- Good and clear communication skills (written and verbal) in English and Vietnamese
- Able to multi-task and prioritise deliverables, work under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
- Positive leadership to lead and motivate a team of subordinates is a must.
- Team player with good communication skills and adept at managing conflicts with peers and external parties (e.g. clients, service providers and suppliers).
- Positive attitude towards challenges and resilience
- Willingness to take on new skills and tasks, resourceful in troubleshooting.
- Advantage to candidates who can join on immediate or short notice period.
