What is your mission?

  • Lead design tasks within product squads, and take ownership and accountability for design quality across products and processes.

  • Contribute to the UI/UX design practice as a senior member of the team.

  • Lead complex end-to-end UX research initiatives and strategies, and drive strong UX/UI design across information architecture, cross-platform flows, layout, typography and visual hierarchy — accounting for the holistic user journey and edge cases.

  • Maintain, evolve and advocate for design systems and design processes, setting clear design direction and educating cross-functional teammates to build trust in design.

  • Mentor and coach junior designers through complex problems, product ideation and communication challenges, providing regular, direct and empathetic feedback to build their craft.

  • Shape your squad's product roadmap alongside product and engineering leads, contributing the user's perspective and connecting design work to broader product vision and business objectives.

  • Contribute to shaping design culture by driving design initiatives, owning team rituals, and organising learning opportunities within the team.

  • Any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned to you by the management from time to time, within your category of employment in the organization and for the effective implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of the Quality Management System of TDCX.

Who are we looking for?

  • Candidates must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree in Multimedia Technology, Graphic/Web Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Design or equivalent.

  • Familiarity with AI-powered design tools (e.g., Claude Design, Figma AI/Make) and an eagerness to integrate them into design workflows is required. Possesses sound judgement of when and when not to use AI tools.

  • Proven experience leading design tasks within squads, taking accountability for design quality, and balancing speed and quality based on scope and customer impact.

  • Able to articulate and teach a wide range of UX research methods, information architecture, cross-platform flows, and visual design fundamentals, with the ability to give clear direction to other designers.

  • Experience maintaining and advocating for design systems, using a broad set of design tools and knowing which to apply for each phase of work.

  • Strong design thinking and product thinking, able to shape roadmaps and connect design work to business objectives.

  • Proven mentorship ability, providing regular, direct and empathetic feedback to help designers grow.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, able to lead workshops and stakeholder conversations that drive actionable outcomes.
